Gilead Baptist
Church web site. Were
we worship in His presence, and aggressively work in His power as we seek to
spread the Gospel throughout the world.
Our desire is that the "Kingdom of God
might come" so that His "shiekna
glory" might fill this dark desolate world. We're “Serious
About Salvation," and act with a sense of urgency to
save the lost recognizing that Christ is coming back. We endeavor not to
quench His spirit, but to allow it to flow powerfully through us as it leads
and directs us in worship and in work.
God has placed an awesome
responsibility upon the people of
Mount
Gilead. He has called
us to "Build Community."
As His "Ecclessia," (called out and
separated people), it is our responsibility to ensure the light of Christ is
never diminished by our actions or our words. We believe that God is
performing a mighty work in the lives of the people of this ministry. In
building community, we endeavor to preach and teach the Word of God, and to
re-enforce its principles through outreach ministries such as the Mount Gilead Christian
Academy & Early Child
Development Center,
Seeds of Faith Christian Book Store
and the coming Gilead Community Development
Corporation, and other means of commerce.

Spiritually, Socially, Educationally and Economically! We endeavor to disciple saints through
ministries that empower, equip and encourage God’s people to worship in His
presence and to work in His power to reach the lost, while working out our
salvation in the perfecting of the gifts He has given each of us.
